Capsella genomics resource

CapBase

Integrating Genetics and Genomics to Advance Capsella Research

CapBase is a developing resource for Capsella genetics, genomics, gene annotation, TE annotation, comparative genomics, and related tools.

A focused home for Capsella research data

CapBase is being developed as a clean static portal for genome assemblies, annotations, comparative genomics datasets, and future analysis tools supporting Capsella research. The first release focuses on Capsella rubella, Capsella grandiflora, Capsella orientalis, and Arabidopsis thaliana as a comparative reference.

Species panels

Capsella rubella

A selfing species central to studies of mating-system evolution, population genomics, and genome annotation in Capsella.

View details

Capsella grandiflora

An outcrossing relative used for comparative genetics, evolutionary analyses, and species-level genome comparisons.

View details

Capsella orientalis

A distinct Capsella lineage that expands comparative analyses across the genus and supports broader evolutionary questions.

View details

Arabidopsis thaliana

A well-established Brassicaceae reference for orthology, annotation comparison, and functional genomics context.
